Accident Prevention

Changes to the Law

The rules were introduced to cut down the number of fires, injuries and deaths caused by faulty electrical installations. Since the majority of the require electricity to be used next to the elements or water it is particularly important to make sure the electrical wiring is secure and the systems are faultless.

The Home Information Pack and our Periodic Report Form

When testing electrical systems, we use a Periodic Report Form. This form comes with its own serial number, is documented and duplicated. It is often used with house surveys when property is being bought or sold and can also be used as a bargaining tool with property prices.
