We have developed this website to serve the largest possible audience by addressing the needs of people with differing abilities. The site conforms to the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium to priority 1 which is the minimum level required.
Our site is powered by Joomla, probably the most popular Open Source Content Management System available. Currently, Joomla does not produce fully compliant code and therefore compliance to higher priorities (2&3) is not possible. There also may be some accessibility issues with some of the components used within this site and so we are dedicated to improving this position as and when those components improve. The roadmap for Joomla has version 1.5 being fully compliant when finally released and therefore it is our intention to upgrade to this version when we are satisfied that it is stable and secure.
